Positioned for Year 101

Charleston Church celebrates 100 years of serving the Lord. In this inspiring message, Pastor Ward challenges believers for the road ahead and talks about how the blessings of God are meant to set the church apart to do miracles, signs, and wonders.

Pastor Ward discusses Psalm 115 and God’s plans for the church and his people. God sets his people apart with “the blessing.” God could choose to set his people apart through suffering, through disappointment, with hard living, with unreasonable tasks, BUT he doesn’t. God chooses to bless his people to set them apart from the world. What a good God we serve! When the blessing is on you, you want to be more like Jesus and less like the world. It changes your mentality. The blessing makes you realize that God’s plans are far greater than what the world could ever understand.

Through the blessing of God, we must remain different. We can’t blend in to today’s culture and remain in God’s blessing. We must be a covenant people. God’s blessing goes to those who will keep God’s covenant. How do we keep our covenant? Obey every word of the Bible and believe in the good news of his son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and offers salvation. And in all things, we must glorify him.
Whatever God wants to do in the church, he wants to do in your house. If the church is functioning properly, the people increase. When the church increases, the people increase, when the people increase, the church increases. It goes up and up and up when we put God first.

Lord, bring your church to a whole new level, a whole new paradigm, a new grace, a new hope, a new purity, a new effectiveness, a new power. Move by your spirit. We give all glory to the Lord. Amen!
