OUR TEAM

Matthew M. Ward has served as senior pastor of the Charleston Church, one of the largest multi-generational churches in Maine, since April 2000.
Under his direction and leadership team the church has also grown in its regional impact including, Safe Place Food Pantry; Fusion, a one-minute program aired locally on a CBS affiliate, cable channels, and secular radio; Epic Kids; Empower Education, among many other outreach ministries. Darcy, his wife, serves as the Care Pastor. In August 2015, he was appointed the president of Faith Bible College in Charleston, Maine.
Matthew and Darcy reside in Corinth, Maine,  and they have three married children:  Mariah and her husband Rocky, and their sons, Axel and Knox; Macy and her husband Elijah; and Micah and his wife Savanah all reside in Corinth, Maine.

Paul and Heather have been on staff at Charleston Church for over 15 years. They serve as worship/creative leaders together. Heather leads the cGroup ministry while Paul oversees all youth/children's ministries.
They have been married for 19 years and have 4 children: Hannah 17, Nate 16, Zac 14, and Sammy 10.

Anthony has been coming to Charleston Church his whole life and is a 5th generation attender. He is our connections pastor and oversees our hospitality team and all of our follow up ministry. Anthony is also our young adults pastor (cCrew).
Anthony is married to Sarah, our volunteer coordinator, and they have 3 children: Austin 14, Tyson 12, and Gunner 7.

Mariah leads our thriving and exciting children's ministry called cKids. Along with her husband Rocky and sons Axel and Knox, Mariah and her family are dynamic leaders in Charleston church.  

Christian is a recent graduate of Faith Bible College International and serves in two roles at Charleston Church. He leads our middle school youth group called cMiddle on Sundays at 10am in the fellowship hall, and is responsible for our social media presence.
Christian recently got married to his fiancee Kamri and reside in Charleston, Maine. 

Mark and Stacey have been pillars at Charleston Church for many years. They began serving
as youth pastors in the fall of 2019. Their heart and passion for young people is clearly seen in
the way they talk, reach out and minister to the youth of our region.

Joel and Carrie Carr live in Charleston, Maine with their two girls and are excited to be part
of God's work in Sullivan. Joel is a recent graduate of  Faith Bible College International, while
Carrie works as the principal at Central Community Elementary School in Corinth, Maine.

Jake and Alisha live in Charleston, Maine with their three boys and are excited to be part of
God's work in Milo. Jake is finishing up Bible School at Faith Bible College International, while
Alisha works at Charleston Church during the week.
