Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Legacy Giving

Two out of every three Americans do not have a will. If someone dies without a will, they die intestate. When a person dies
intestate, the distribution of their assets will be determined by a probate court. This is not the best plan of stewardship for the
believer. The Bible says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” -Proverbs 13:22. The best inheritance is not
only physical but spiritual.

This is why Charleston Church is excited to offer to members the opportunity to create their own legal will, living will, and
revokable living trust. It’s 100% free to you, and most people finish in 20 minutes or less.

You also might want to consider leaving a bequest to Charleston Church. If you choose to designate a bequest, you may
choose “Charleston Church” from the drop-down menu when creating your will. The drop-down menu will appear after
selecting “My Church” if you choose to leave a bequest.
