100% Part 3
Don’t wait. Start walking with Jesus today!
As we grow up, people often ask us questions about what we want to become, what career will we choose, and what will we do with our lives? One thing we can be certain of, a life without God can never fulfill us. No matter what career we find ourselves in, unless we commit ourselves fully to God’s plans, we risk becoming disconnected from the joy and fulfillment that comes from following the purpose God planned for us. Pursuing a lifestyle without God leads to anxiety, stress, and discontentment, lacking an ability to feel connected to God’s purpose. Walking with Jesus, we experience true peace and joy, even amidst trials and persecution. When we let the Holy Spirit lead us, He lights the path we should take, even when it’s only one step at a time.
What do you do if you have fallen off track? Simple, start now! Don’t worry about the past or how you got to where you are, just start now. Pray to Jesus and ask him to show you how you can begin today, one step at a time.
Need to know how? Paul is a great example for Christians of how to walk fully committed to God’s will, remaining focused through seemingly insurmountable persecution and affliction, and still being an encouragement to new believers. Paul, who admits to being the “worst of sinners,” turned his life around to live fully for Jesus, becoming one of the greatest Christians to ever live and writing over half of the New Testament. God can use imperfect people to do great things if we are willing to give Him one-hundred percent effort.
Every Christian needs the aspects that Paul reveals in Acts 20:22 to help us fulfill God’s plans for our lives. Pastor Matt Ward reveals how we can successfully commit to God’s purpose - walking by faith, being led by the Holy Spirit, remaining focused, and finishing with joy.
